Advancing healthcare® through philanthropy

We believe that advancing healthcare often requires more than a for-profit investment model can provide.

That’s why Deerfield employees founded and fund the Deerfield Foundation – a private, New York City-based not-for-profit organization on a mission to improve health, accelerate innovation, and promote human equity throughout the world.

Since its inception in 2005, the Deerfield Foundation has partnered with a diverse slate of healthcare-focused non-profits to make a difference in the lives of patients and families, with a special emphasis on improving children’s health. The Foundation’s funds are provided through employee contributions and directly from Deerfield’s profits.

Meet the Deerfield Foundation Team

Deerfielders at every level of our firm are active contributors to the Foundation – whether by serving on committees that shape its mission and strategy; serving as hands-on operational liaisons to organizations from clinics in the South Bronx to the highlands of Nepal; or participating in Foundation-sponsored volunteer opportunities.

Caring is a team effort.
