Topher Orr
Managing Director
Topher Orr is a Managing Director on the Medical Technologies team and joined the Firm in 2026. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Orr spent over thirteen years at OrbiMed Advisors, most recently as a Partner, where he was primarily focused on medical device and supplies investments. Before OrbiMed, he spent nearly three years as an Equity Research Associate at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Orr started his career in equity research at Thomas Weisel Partners. Mr. Orr holds a B.A. in Economics and B.A. in Religion from Trinity College.
