Richard Rubino

Richard Rubino is an Operating Partner on the Healthcare Services team and joined the Firm in 2026. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Rubino spent over two years as Chief Financial Officer at VillageMD. Before VillageMD, he served for nearly two years as EVP & Chief Financial Officer at Cedar Gate Technologies, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Rubino spent nearly nine years as Chief Financial Officer at Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Earlier in his career, he spent 19 years at Medco Health Solutions, Inc., most recently as Chief Financial Officer. Before Medco, he spent ten years at International Business Machines Corporation in various accounting and finance management roles, and began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co. Mr. Rubino holds a B.S. in Accounting from Manhattan College.
