Scott Donohue

Scott Donohue is a Senior Director, Market Access, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Donohue was a Principal, Value and Access for IQVIA. Before that, he was an Executive Director, Policy and Access for TG Therapeutics and a Senior Director, Global Policy for Bristol Myers Squibb, among other in-house and consulting roles he has held in the healthcare industry. Mr. Donohue holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University and an MPA in Health Policy and Management from New York University. 

Surya Reddy

Surya Reddy is an Associate Director, Data Analytics, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Reddy most recently was a Data Science Manager at Symphony Health Solutions where he worked for over four years. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Osmania University in India and an M.S. in Business Intelligence and Analytics from Saint Joseph University.

Marisa Oppenheim

Marisa Oppenheim is an Associate Director, Engineering, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2022. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Oppenheim was a Software Engineer at Tempus Labs. Before that, she was a Software Engineer for Domio and a Platform Support Engineer for Novus Partners, Inc. Ms. Oppenheim holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from The City University of New York’s Macaulay Honors College.

Iris Chen

Iris Chen is a Research Manager, Data Analytics in the Deerfield Institute. Ms. Chen joined the Firm in 2021 as a Fellow. Ms. Chen holds a B.A. in Mathematics from The City University of New York’s Macaulay Honors College.

Paul Quigley

Paul Quigley is a Software Engineer in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2022. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Quigley spent seven years as a Software Engineer at MIK Fund Solutions and more than two years as a Software Engineer at Street Systems. Before that, Mr. Quigley spent a year at Indus Capital Partners as a Technology Analyst, a year at Pali Capital as a Software Engineer, two years at NorthPoint Solutions as a Consultant, two years at Verified Person as a Software Engineer, four years at MasterCard as a Senior Developer and three years at USIternetworking as an Integration Specialist. Mr. Quigley holds a B.A in Information Technology with Marketing from University of Paisley in the United Kingdom.

Pooja Deo

Pooja Deo is Business Intelligence Developer in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2021.  Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Deo spent three years as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for Guidepoint, an expert network.  Before Guidepoint, she was a Data Analyst for Outcome Health and New Jersey Parent Caucus.  Before these roles, Ms. Deo was a Datawarehouse Developer & Business Intelligence Developer for L&T InfoTech in India for three years.  Ms. Deo holds a B.E. in Computer Science from the University of Pune in India and an M.S. in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Jessie Hou

Jessie Hou is a Senior Director, Forecasting, in the Deerfield Institute and joined Deerfield in 2021. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Hou spent six years at Boehringer Ingelheim, most recently as Senior Associate Director, Specialty Care Forecasting. Previously to that, Ms. Hou was Associate Manager of a corporate venture capital fund at Ajinomoto Group, Consultant at 21Ventures and Scientist at Shire Pharmaceuticals (now part of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company). Ms. Hou holds B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Chemical & Biological Engineering, and an M.B.A. from the NYU-Stern School of Business. She is also a CFA charterholder.

Amanda Khellawon

Amanda Khellawon is a Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute. She joined the Firm in 2020 as a Fellow. Ms. Khellawon holds a B.A. in Economics from The City University of New York’s City College. 

David Griffith

David Griffith is a Senior Director, Data Analytics, working with the Business Development team and joined the Firm in 2020. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Griffith spent over three years at Pfizer, where he was most recently Director, Payer Analytics. In this role, he was responsible for providing guidance and recommendations to senior leadership with respect to Pfizer’s Innovative Health portfolio, in addition to building machine learning models to predict outcomes of market access investments. Before Pfizer, Mr. Griffith worked as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and IQVIA within the healthcare and life sciences industries. Mr. Griffith holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a M.S. in Applied Analytics from Columbia University.

Ric Kaspar

Ric Kaspar is a Senior Director, Engineering, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2020. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Kaspar was a Senior Software Developer at the New York Blood Center and a Senior Software Developer with NHS Improvement in London. Before his time with the NHS, he was a Senior Development/Analyst with Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles. Mr. Kaspar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Bond University in Australia.
