Samantha Maison is an Executive Assistant supporting Deerfield Discovery and Development and joined the Firm in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Maison was a Human Capital Management Associate for Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, and a Human Resource Business Partner for Morgan Stanley. Before these positions, she worked at Weill Cornell Medicine for three years in varying human resources-related positions, including most recently as Diversity, Engagement and Inclusion Associate. Ms. Maison holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Gabrielle Briganti is an Executive Assistant supporting the Medical Technologies team and joined the Firm in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Briganti spent more than two years at SL Green Realty Corp. in various roles, most recently as Executive Assistant to the COO. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration.

Luci Albertson is an Executive Assistant supporting Deerfield Discovery and Development and joined the Firm in 2022. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Albertson was a Candidate Recruiter for Northbound Executive Search, and before that, she was the Head U17 Regional Coach and Assistant U17 Travel Coach for Northeast Volleyball. Luci holds a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology and an M.S. in Management from Fairfield University.

Barbara Smart is an Executive Assistant in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2022.  Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Smart spent 21 years at Salisbury & Ryan LLP as an Executive Assistant.  Ms. Smart holds a B.A. in Communications from Fordham University.

Nicole Delgado is an Executive Assistant supporting Deerfield Discovery and Development and joined the Firm in 2022. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Delgado was an Administrative Assistant in Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and before that, she was an Administrative Assistant in Radiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Ms. Delgado has also served at Weill Cornell Medicine as a Senior Medical Secretary in the Neurology Department and at NYU Langone Medical Center in roles of increasing responsibility. She holds a B.S. in Healthcare Management from New York University.

Giselle Pineda is an Outsourcing Operations Manager, Deerfield Discovery and Development. Ms. Pineda joined the Firm in 2021 as an Executive Assistant. She transitioned to her current position in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, she spent two years at Houlihan Lokey in their Corporate Finance division supporting the healthcare mergers and acquisitions group. Before Houlihan Lokey, she worked at KNK Executive Search/Horizon Healthcare Staffing in roles of increasing responsibility for five years. Ms. Pineda holds a B.A in Political Science from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.

Lisa Nordfors is an Executive Assistant supporting the Healthcare Services team and joined the Firm in 2021 to support the Medical Technologies team. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Nordfors was an Executive Assistant at Owl Creek Asset Management for over three years. Previous to Owl Creek, Ms. Nordfors was an Executive Assistant at ClearView Financial Solutions. Ms. Nordfors holds a B.A. in Business Marketing from Pace University, Lubin School of Business.

Regan Curran is Project Manager, Therapeutics. Ms. Curran joined the Firm in 2020 as an Executive Assistant before transitioning to her current role in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, she was an Executive Assistant at Cyrus Capital Partners, where she provided administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and several Partners. Before Cyrus, she served as an Associate for IPG Mediabrands. Ms. Curran holds a B.S. in Marketing from Providence College.
