MUSO Study Signals New Hope For Universal Health Care And Child Survival

MUSO published results of the pilot phase of their study of community health workers in peri-urban Mali in BMJ Global Health, showing a child under five mortality rate of 0.7%. This is the lowest rate in sub-Saharan Africa in the last five years, and also lower than the same mortality rate in the United States.
