Ming Zhu, Ph.D., is Vice President of Biostatistics at Deerfield and joined the Firm in 2019. Prior to Deerfield, Dr. Zhu was Deputy Director of Biostatistics at Sanofi, where he led the statistical efforts around multiple vaccine products. Before Sanofi, he worked as a manager of biostatistics at Abbott Laboratories and AbbVie in the areas of oncology and hematology. He began his career as a biostatistician at Singapore Health Services. Dr. Zhu received the President Award from AbbVie in 2016 and the Statistical Partnerships Among Academe, Industry, and Government (SPAIG) award from the American Statistical Association in 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, a Master’s in Statistics from the National University of Singapore, and a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Emory University.
