Scott Donohue

Scott Donohue is a Senior Director, Market Access, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2023. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Donohue was a Principal, Value and Access for IQVIA. Before that, he was an Executive Director, Policy and Access for TG Therapeutics and a Senior Director, Global Policy for Bristol Myers Squibb, among other in-house and consulting roles he has held in the healthcare industry. Mr. Donohue holds a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University and an MPA in Health Policy and Management from New York University. 

Dharan Kadiyala

Dharan Kadiyala is an Associate Director, Market Research in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2019. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Kadiyala was a Senior Analyst at Penn Schoen Berland, a global market research consultancy specializing in strategic communications. Mr. Kadiyala holds a B.A. in Psychology from New York University. 

Emily Boylan

Emily Boylan is an Associate Director, Market Research in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2018. Prior to Deerfield, she conducted survey research for GfK, a global market intelligence firm, serving clients with business objectives in thought leadership and strategic communications. Ms. Boylan received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of San Francisco and a M.St. in the Study of Religion from the University of Oxford. 

Emma Giegerich

Emma Giegerich is a Senior Director, Applied Epidemiology, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2018. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Giegerich worked as an Epidemiologist at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she supported the Strategic Planning & Forecasting team in formulation of financial and market forecasts and creation of business strategy. Previously, Ms. Giegerich worked as a Research Associate at WG. Ms. Giegerich holds an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from New York University and dual B.A. degrees from Colgate University in Molecular Biology and Peace and Conflict Studies.

Hiroyuki Sato

Hiroyuki Sato is a Senior Director, Market Research, in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2014. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Sato was at Manhattan Research (now part of Decision Resources Group), where he tracked and provided analyses on digital health trends through syndicated research studies. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Danielle MacKenzie

Danielle Mac Kenzie is a Senior Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2015. Ms. Mac Kenzie holds a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.

Kerri Seacord

Kerri Seacord is a Senior Manager of Survey Operations in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2011. Ms. Seacord holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Linda Roberto

Linda Roberto is an Associate Director of Survey Operations in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2008. Prior to Deerfield, she was an Account Coordinator at Scarsdale Security for three years where her responsibilities included scheduling teams of service technicians from New York to Florida. She began her career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Ms. Roberto holds a B.A. in Political Science from Western New England College.

Saiyara Fahmi

Saiyara Fahmi is a Senior Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2019. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Fahmi was a Research Analyst at Syneos Health, where she worked on delivering marketing and communication recommendations based on primary and secondary market research to clients. She has experience serving as a Clinical Research Assistant in the lab of Dr. Derek Steinbacher at the Yale School of Medicine. Ms. Fahmi holds a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Cornell University.

Alexis Cazé

Alexis Cazé is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer, and joined the Firm in 2006, when he established the Deerfield Institute. As COO, Mr. Cazé leads the Deerfield Institute and supports the operational activities across the firm. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Cazé spent three years at Gerson Lehrman Group, a leading expert network. Before that, Mr. Cazé was a Strategic Marketing Manager at Sanofi, analyzing research and data to develop portfolio product launch strategies. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a consultant serving clients in the healthcare space and designing database objects and knowledge management systems. He earned his PharmD from the Paris University of Pharmacy and his MSc in Business from E.M. Lyon Business School.
