Ric Kaspar

Ric Kaspar is a Data Engineer in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2020.  Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Kaspar was a Senior Software Developer at the New York Blood Center and a Senior Software Developer with NHS Improvement in London.  Before his time with the NHS, he was a Senior Development/Analyst with Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles.  Mr. Kaspar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Bond University in Australia.

Morgan Tam

Morgan Tam is a Data Scientist in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2020. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Tam spent two years at CKM Analytix, initially as a Data Scientist and then as a Senior Data Scientist. Before CKM Analytix, he was a Data Scientist at Metis. Mr. Tam also held positions at Expert Network Group (ENG) as an Investment Research Analyst and Philips Healthcare as a Software Engineer through a co-op program. Mr. Tam holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where he spent three years as a Senior Researcher in Radiation Oncology at the Laboratory for Cancer Nanotechnology and Immunotherapy and was a contributing author on three peer-reviewed publications.

Danielle MacKenzie

Danielle Mac Kenzie is a Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2015. Ms. Mac Kenzie holds a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh

Alexandra Truglio

Alexandra Truglio is Director in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2016. She focuses on the analysis of coverage and reimbursement trends in the healthcare sector. Prior to Deerfield, Ms. Truglio was an analyst in market access at GfK, a market intelligence company. Ms. Truglio holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Boston College.

Kerri Seacord

Kerri Seacord is a Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2011. Ms. Seacord holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Linda Roberto

Linda Roberto is a Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2008. Prior to Deerfield, she was an Account Coordinator at Scarsdale Security for three years where her responsibilities included scheduling teams of service technicians from New York to Florida. She began her career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Ms. Roberto holds a B.A. in Political Science from Western New England College.

Zhenhua He, Ph.D.

Zhenhua He, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist, Deerfield Discovery and Development and joined Deerfield in 2017. Prior to Deerfield, he worked at Novo Nordisk, where he spent four years as a Senior Scientist/Group Leader. Before Novo Nordisk, Dr. He was a Scientist for NGM Biopharmaceuticals in San Francisco for two years. He also worked as a consultant at Campbell Alliance Consulting and interned at a venture fund. Dr. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis.

Ying Tie

Ying Tie is a Research Manager on the Deerfield Institute’s Shanghai team and joined the Firm in 2016 to focus on Japan-related research. Prior to Deerfield, she spent two years with Daiwa Security in Tokyo, where her responsibilities included bond underwriting documentation as well as communication with clients in London, Hong Kong and New York. Ms. Tie is fluent in Japanese, English and Chinese, and is currently studying German and Korean. She graduated with a B.A. in Marketing from Waseda University.

Dharan Kadiyala

Dharan Kadiyala is a Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2019. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Kadiyala was a Senior Analyst at Penn Schoen Berland, a global market research consultancy specializing in strategic communications. Mr. Kadiyala holds a B.A. in Psychology from New York University. 

Emily Tavcar

Emily Tavcar is a Research Manager in the Deerfield Institute and joined the Firm in 2018.  Prior to Deerfield, she conducted survey research for GfK, a global market intelligence firm, serving clients with business objectives in thought leadership and strategic communications.  Ms. Tavcar received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of San Francisco and a M.St. in the Study of Religion from the University of Oxford.
